【簡愛】：給麥可的一封信 @ 莫比埃湖畔

親愛的麥可，

Dear Michael,

你好！

Nice to meet you!

我喜歡看電影，但很少提筆寫信給演員。但這次我深深為你所飾演的羅徹斯特打動，有幾句話想說。

I enjoy
watching films, and I hardly write to actors. But this time I'm so touched by
your version of Rochester, that I would like to express my thoughts.

坦白說，我從來都不是你的影迷。我看過你在【逐愛天堂】和【惡棍特工】的演出，但是你在【簡愛】中的表演讓我覺得很震撼。

Frankly, I've never been your great fan. Indeed, I saw you in other films like Angel
or Inglourious Basterds, but I must say that I am overwhelmed by your
performance in Jane Eyre.

我小時候讀過這本夏綠蒂‧勃朗黛的小說，也看過很多改編版本。每個羅徹斯特都演得很好，你的也是，除此之外，你還為這個角色附上些許新意。電影開始的時候，你的羅徹斯特和其他一樣，是一個粗暴、嘲諷的角色（我愛極了那場羅徹斯特受傷，要求簡愛幫忙時說的那句：『拜託您行行好』）。重大的秘密讓他不快樂，同時他不斷嘲笑簡。漸漸地，他們墜入愛河，但無法避免地陷入悲劇。

I read Charlotte Brontë's novel when
I was little girl, and saw many adaptations. All Rochester were doing good, including yours.
What is more, you bring something new to this character. In the beginning of
the film, like other Rochesters, yours is abrupt, sarcastic (I adore the scene
when you say "If you would be so kind" to Jane while Rochester is injured and asking for her aid).
He's unhappy with a big secret, and he doesn't stop teasing Jane. Little by
little, they fall in love with each other, but are inevitably trapped by this
tragedy.

這部片我看了兩三遍，每一次我都感覺出簡與羅徹斯特之間有新的事物綻放開來，某種越來越溫暖的事物。許多小動作不經意透露出他們內心真正的感受。你的眼神表情豐富，手勢溫柔，聲音充滿磁性……而且你的羅徹斯特有一種淘氣。有一幕，簡向羅徹斯特道喜，恭喜他即將成婚。她離開後，羅徹斯特輕輕踢著地面，那是他在懊惱。第一次我沒注意到，當我後來注意到之後，不由得會心一笑。我喜歡看這類影片，表面上看起來很平淡，但留下許多線索供人回味和詮釋。我看【簡愛】看的很開心，因為它短而豐富。順便一提，我有點失望，它的片長至少應該多半小時才夠！小說敘述羅徹斯特與簡重逢後的生活。他們好不容易苦盡甘來，影片結尾多放十分鐘二十分鐘絕不為過！

I viewed this film 2-3 times, and
each time I can sense something new bursts out between Rochester & Jane,
something more and more heartwarming. So many tiny gestures betray their real
feelings. Your expressive glare, tender hands, magnetic voice, and your naughtiness.... In one scene,
when Jane congratulates Rochester for the
marriage, Rochester
kicks the ground when she leaves, visibly annoyed. I didn't notice it at first,
but grinned inside when I remarked it later. I enjoy watching films like this,
which may look plain at the first sight, but leave plenty of clues to be savoured
and interpreted. I had a great time watching Jane Eyre, because it's short but
rich. By the way, I'm slightly disappointed that it's not 30mn longer ! The novel relates the life of Rochester
& Jane after their reunion, and for all they suffer, 10-20mn longer would
not be too much to the film!

最後，我要對你說「讚」，感謝你帶給本片的美好（觀影）經驗！你的表演給人感覺有如觸電；【簡愛】讓我熱血沸騰，請讓我也在精神上跟你握個手吧！

Finally, I want to say
"bravo", and thanks for the wonderful experience that you bring to
the film! You gave an electrifying performance. I'm simply thrilled when
watching Jane Eyre. Please allow me to mentally shake hands with you, too !

嗨 ! 您好,
我剛看完這部電影,因為很喜歡, 上網爬文, 沒想到就看到你的部落格, 我非常讚同你說的Michael Fassbender的表現真的很好, 雖然我也想過寫信給他, 不過自己的英文實在太爛了, 不知道從何下筆, 讀了你的信後, 覺得寫得真好。

看了好幾遍
這封信放在這因為Michael Fassbender沒有blog
不曉得藥寄去哪裡
另外也是我複習英文的一種方式
因為來法國之後英文忘了很多!!
