莫比埃湖畔

「VIVA LA VIDA」是西班牙文，意為「生命萬歲」。第一次聽到這首歌是ITUNES的電視廣告，當時覺得這廣告很酷，跟一般MV不一樣，又延續IPOD廣告的風格。

接下來，收音機上每天都播出這首歌。每天聽收音機，難得聽到一首入耳的，這首我個人滿喜歡，歌詞也寫得不錯，頗有唾棄專制獨裁，嚮往開明政治的抱負。從阿姆斯特丹的演唱會中可看到，VIVA LA VIDA中的副歌，有敲鐘的樂段，呼應歌詞「耶路撒冷的鐘聲」，也在流行音樂的曲風中，增添不一樣的趣味。
